SERIES:

The following series of events (Clay Workshops & Co-Counselling) are both a series of workshops where you are invited and encouraged to attend all four workshops.

Clay Workshops:

Those of us in and around Hull are surrounded by MUD and CLAY, - 'boulder clay', ground down, dragged and dumped here by the last glacier 22,000 years ago. Rather than being 'dirty, germy, brown, boring' stuff, this clay is full of life...organisms, history, food sources for other wild life, and creative potential.

We are going to Dig it up, purify/process it, make it usable, create a pot or little animal and, during 'This Place's final camp out, we going to fire it in a homemade fire pit.)

please call 07958730695 if you want to attend.

- Clay Dig (1of4, Monday 13th June, 4-5.30pm)

HARI exhibition

19th Nov-21st Dec - 47 King Edward Street HU1 3RW

This is an exhibiton of work responding to THIS PLACE events and themes in and around Hull in the summer of 2022. THIS PLACE is a project exploring the simultaneous places that we all inhabit - Land, Body, Community, Politics, History... Its an invitation for various local communities to explore their relation to the spaces they live in, and the people and forces at play in those spaces. It also tries to aid efforts to Common - to pool resources for resilience in the face of present and future hardships. It's a communal investigation into our communal needs, and it tries to feed back into an archive of research from which we can continue to learn and act.

This exhibition is part of that growing communal archive, communicating the experiences of seven artists during and alongside various community workshops and discussions.
